Prepare New York

Preparing New York for the 10th anniversary of 9/11

In an effort to embrace New York's extraordinary religious diversity, Odyssey Networks recently joined five of the city's most prominent interfaith organizations in forming a new coalition, Prepare New York.

Prepare New York was launched last year in response to the heated debate sparked by the proposal to build a Muslim community center in lower Manhattan. The coalition seeks to shift the emphasis in such debates from fear and mistrust to a celebration of religious freedom and expression.

The Prepare New York coalition includes three Odyssey Networks members: Auburn Seminary, Interfaith Center of New York, and Intersections International, in addition to Tanebaum Center for Interreglious Understanding, and Quest: A Center for Spiritual Inquiry.

Watch Odyssey Networks original programming "9/11: Beyond Hate" for the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
