Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, recorded at the beginning of an eight-city U.S. tour to build greater interfaith understanding and harmony, tells American Muslims that their role at this time in history is to "de-politicize our faith" and reminds all Americans that the story of  immigrants to its shores has always been a story of both integration and maintaining a distinctive identity.
